Long-Distance Transfers
Door-to-door comfort to Athens, Augusta, Savannah, Birmingham, and beyond.
When the destination isn’t in Atlanta
Many of the trips Atlanta professionals take by air can actually be done faster (door-to-door) by chauffeured ground. By the time you’ve cleared TSA at ATL, waited at the gate, flown forty minutes, picked up a rental car, and driven the same surface roads you’d have hit anyway, you’ve often spent more total time than a direct chauffeured drive. And you’ve spent it with less work done, less rest, and less control over your schedule.
We run regional long-distance transfers as a regular part of our weekly book. The math works for trips up to four or five hours from Atlanta — and depending on the destination’s airport options, sometimes longer.
Routes we run regularly
Athens (1 hr 20 min). UGA football weekends, alumni events, family graduations. The vehicle stages at the venue or hotel for the day, you don’t think about the drive home.
Augusta (2 hr 30 min). Masters week is our busiest non-Atlanta booking. We run multi-day itineraries with overnight chauffeur arrangements, badge-aware routing into the National, and morning-after returns to ATL or PDK.
Savannah (3 hr 45 min). A weekend in the historic district without renting a car. We drop at your inn, pick up the next morning at the time you choose, run the in-town day with stops at Forsyth Park and the riverside, and bring you back at the end of the weekend.
Birmingham (2 hr 15 min). Business travel, Talladega race weeks, family visits. Direct chauffeured beats Delta’s connecting flight every time.
Charleston (4 hr 30 min). Wedding weekends, golf trips at Kiawah, family visits. Multi-day with overnight pickup arrangements.
Chattanooga (1 hr 50 min). Adventure-day trips, family weekends, business calls at the south-side tech corridor.
Hilton Head (4 hr). Family vacations, golf trips. Loaded SUV including beach bags.
Why this often beats flying
For routes under four hours, the door-to-door math usually favors ground:
| Element | Flying | Chauffeured ground |
|---|---|---|
| Leave home | T-2 hr | T-0 |
| Driving / waiting at gate | 30 + 60 min | n/a |
| Air time | 45 min | n/a |
| Rental + drive to destination | 30 + 30 min | continuous drive |
| Total door-to-door | ~3:45 for a 45-min flight | 2:30 for a 2:30 drive |
Plus you arrive rested, you’ve worked through the trip on Wi-Fi, and you don’t need to think about a rental car at the destination.
What’s included
Per-mile or flat-rate pricing depending on the route. The route, expected drive time, fuel-stop strategy, and meal-stop plan are confirmed before you book. For long routes (over four hours), we offer a two-driver option so the chauffeur stays fresh — common on Masters week Augusta runs and on Charleston wedding weekends. Onboard Wi-Fi for working clients, cooler space for family groups, and a cabin set the way you like for the duration.
Atlanta as the home base
For all of our regional transfers, the home base is Atlanta. Pickup is door-to-door from any address in metro Atlanta — Buckhead, Sandy Springs, Marietta, Alpharetta, Dunwoody, Decatur, Brookhaven, Roswell, Smyrna. Return is the same — direct to your door on the day and time of your choosing.
